The sustainability team work towards encouraging students to recycle and reuse, save energy, walk and cycle, and buy locally sourced food.  This involves working on campaigns such as the Inter Hall Energy Competition, the Freshers week bike sale, producing an annual "Green Guide" and improving facilities for students in private accommodation to recycle.

The sustainability committee also runs Green Week in Week 9 to promote ethical and green living. Including a fair trade fashion show, demonstrations of vegetarian and vegan cooking, guest speakers on topics of sustainable development and much more we hope to present green living to the student body in a fun and accessible way.
