The Societies Committee.
The Societies Committee is the team dedicated to dealing with societies on behalf of the Students’ Association.
The Societies Committee’s job has three parts. First, to dish out the grant money available to societies (for more information see the financial handbook). Second, to provide information and support in the form of documentation, training, and assistance. Finally, we’re also here to make sure societies are aware of and follow the Students Association’s laws and policies concerning societies. (See Section 3: Societies Governance).
The Societies Committee meets every week at Wednesday at 4pm in the Committee Room. Societies can come to present grant proposals, ask questions and discuss any problems with the committee.
