What the Union Can Do For You

We know that we ask a lot of you, but we are here to help you as much as feasibly possible.

Design Team
The Design Team is a team of students who are able to assist you with designing any publicity you wish to produce and is the first point of call should you require assistance with publicity. For enquiries, email sadt@st-andrews.ac.uk

University Room Hire
Affiliated societies are able to use rooms in university buildings, subject to availability. Rooms are usually available after 6pm. For booking enquiries, contact reservations@st-andrews.ac.uk

Union Venues
Your society is entitled to up to 6 hours use of the Union’s meeting rooms per week for free (providing that there is no charge for your event). Bookings can be made through the General Office.

Services (bars, catering, drinks, printing)
• The Union bar is able to provide alcohol for events (at the cheapest prices!) and operates a buy-back policy, so that anything not consumed can be refunded. Please contact the Bar Manager.
• If you are planning to host an event outside the Union, the Union can provide a licensed bar for the event. Please contact the Bar Manager at least 6 weeks in advance for this.
• Printing can be done at the cheapest prices in town from the General Office in the Union
• The Union Café can also provide a catering service for your events – for more information, contact the Catering Manager.

Transportation
Societies are able to use the Union’s minibus if they have a driver who is over 21 and has held a license for at least 3 years. For further details, contact the Porter’s Office in the Union.
