Sustainable Development Society Minutes

I.                   WSCSD application needs to be completed
a.       Amanda and Dylan will be the representatives
II.                Hoodies:
a.      Money needs to be handed in outside the library on Wednesday the 7th of May at 2:30.
b.      Need to send order into woman Dylan is dealing with.
III.             UNYSA
a.       Dylan has been speaking to someone from the organization at St Andrews.
b.      We may be able to go along with them next year and include a sustainable curriculum. But need everyone to get permission.
IV.             Draft a calendar of events:
a.       For examples film screenings and speakers as well as any bigger events we were hoping to hold and WSCSD.
b.      Further discuss freshers fyre and we need to find out if the Mansfield will let us have a BBQ.
c.       Membership fee will be £2 plus a bag.
d.      Decided to hold a BBQ at the beginning of next year.
V.                Student travel survey:
a.       Asked if members of the SD soc would be interested in counting how many students walk by on Wednesday the 7th from 8:40-9:30 and Thursday from 10:30-11:30.
VI.             Plastic bag movement:
a.       The St Andrews Preservation Trust was very interested in our preposed project.
b.      Possible dates were sometime around the 20th of October (next semester)
VII.          SD soc account information:
a.       The names on the account need to be changed to the new members.
VIII.       The SD soc website:
a.       Michael volunteered to put information and events on the website along with the aid of Dylan.
b.      Nevertheless, anyone can do changes
c.       www.yourunion.net/sdsoc and username/password are same as email (sdsoc)
