What is RAG Week?

RAG Week takes place in the second week of the second semester and is a week for the Charities Campaign to take over the Union with great events and heaps of purple fun. Events can take place anywhere and at any time. It’s also a great way for societies and sports to get involved and do some good. Every single penny of profit goes to charity!

Is it for charity? 

Of course! Throughout the duration of the week over 4000 tickets are sold, 1200 balloons blown up, over 100 volunteers help and lots of money is raised for the Campaign's 6 nominated charities. This year the aim is to raise more than £20,000.

Every night we put on different events ranging from Mr St Andrews to St Andrews Got Talent - hosted by UNICEF, to a fashion show to a comedy night. There’s an event for everyone!

RAG Week is organized by an enthusiastic committee and couldn’t happen without it, so if you fancy getting involved, we would absolutely love to hear from you.
