Friday 12th February: Toga Bop. Venue 1

Get RAG Week 2010 off to a great start at the TOGA BOP!

Rip up those bed sheets and put them to a better use creating your own Roman style toga in the name of charity.Rory McLion will of course be showing off his own extremely sexy toga around the union! Bring your friends, your toga and join us for the best night and music in town!

Friday 12th-13th : RAG Week Play- That Face 

In the Byre Theatre

Saturday 13th February: Saints and Sinners Casino Night with DJ. Venue 1

'Experience the glitz and the glamour of Vegas as RAG Week brings the casino to you. There are a variety of games to try your luck with including full sized roulette tables.  With Cameron Rochette providing the music this looks set to be the perfect start to RAG Week. Just one question remains; Are you a Saint or a Sinner?'

Sunday 14th February: Bingo. Venue 1

Whoever said bingo was for grannies couldn’t be more wrong. We’ve got three sessions going at 7:15, 8:30 and 9:45 with some absolutely fantastic prizes! You’d be crazy to miss out. Come to the union and relax with a drink. If you’re lucky maybe you’ll even see “one little duck”, “a dirty knee” or “two fat ladies”. 

 
 Monday 15th February: Mr. St Andrews. Venue 1

The legendary Mr. St Andrews is returning for one night only where you can see the battle commence between the various halls and societies. With seduction rounds, stripping and possibly even some waxing thrown in too, where else would you want to be on a Monday night? Get the best view of the contestants on a VIP table at £12 per person or be in the crowd for £7. There will be a fantastic raffle with great prizes up for grabs kindly donated by lovehoney, mycondom.co.uk and even a chance to be a judge for the whole show! With Katie Potter and Alex Dixon presenting why would you want to miss out. 

Tuesday 16th February: Silent Rave. Venue 1

Everyone loves a headphone disco so we’re brining you a Silent Rave.  Great Music, free rave paint and all on Boozeday Tuesday So get your ticket, pick up your headphones, get your rave paint on and come to Venue 1 for a night you don’t want to miss out on!

Tuesday 16th February: ComedySoc Venue 2

A selection of our finest, home grown, St-Andrean comedy, complete with sketches and a professional host, there is even a spot for you to perform if you so wish!  Any kind of comedy welcome.

Wednesday 17th February: St Andrews Got Talent. Venue 1 

For the first time ever in venue 1, St Andrews got Talent will be showcasing a huge number of performers competing for the first prize of £250.  Breakdancers, beatboxers, jazz groups, singers, and many more will be taking to the stage, and YOU will be making the final decision as to who wins the grand prize! All proceeds going to UNICEF so come along for an amazing night of fun, laughter, and entertainment!

 

Thursday 18th February: Comedy Evening. Venue 1

If you haven't heard of the Amateur Transplants, which rock have you been hiding under? Famous for pieces of parody genius such as 'The London Underground Song', 'Northern Birds' and 'Paracetamoxyfrusebendroneomycin', this London based medic duo will have you crying with laughter and shouting for more. After their sell-out show last year, they are back in St Andrews for one night only. Do not, under any circumstances, miss out.

Thursday 18th February: Black Tie Tied in Black- Rocksoc. Venue 2

Start wearing purple? We're all about wearing black here at Rocksoc, but we're still up for getting into the spirit of RAG week. You're invited to our annual 'Black Tie Tied in Black'  Club night. So, dress up or dress down, and come along for an evening of great music, friendly faces and possibly even a celebrity guest Lion. £2(members)/£3 (non-members) with a special committee auction on the night! See you then.

 Friday 19th February: Jungle Bop- Go Wild. Venue 1

Jungle Bop- “Go Wild”. Get down to the union and join Rory the Lion in his element. Get your fancy dress on and just bring the Bare Necessities! Prizes for the best dressed!!

Saturday 20th February: Catwalk. Venue 1

The original charity fashion show with love from RAG Week.
