Collection for Sichuan Earthquake Appeal

Thank you very much for your support! We successfully collected 3202.38 pounds!!! and HK$ 150, Euro, 20.02, USA$13.05 and RMB 120 for Si Chuan Earthquake Appeal in the 4 hours, on Saturday.

Everything went very well! : )

 

On Saturday 24th May St Andrews students will be outside collecting essential funds to send to Sichaun to help those affected by the earthquake rebuild their lives and send their children to school.

There will be donation event for the "5.12 Si Chuan Earthquake Appeal in China" on this
Saturday (May, 24, 2008) which is hold by Chinese Students and Scholars Assocation (CSSA
- St Andrews) and Fife Chinese Culture Society.

About 50,000 people died in this Earthquake and we hope the fund we raise will help people in
Sichuan earthquake to rebuild their lives; and help children go back to school as soon
possible. we are going to hold three donation stalls around the town – in front of Students
Union, out of Tesco and out of Pizza Express at Logies Lane.  Our members also have donated
some traditional Chinese gifts which will be sold at the stalls. All donations and the money
made from the sale will go to the appeal.
