Minisite Categories
There are no catagories for this site
We know how important websites are for Societies, and we've seen that sometimes society websites become out of date, or that key members with the tech-skills graduate and leave the website in the hands of the not-so-tech-savvy.
Because of this, the Students' Association is offering your society a FREE website.
You don't need to know any computer code, and your website can be up and running within minutes. You get the opportunity to modify the template yourself (or if you need a hand, we'll be happy to help), and you can upload as much content as you want. Need a mailing list? Not a problem - you can manage it all through your minisite. Need to make sure all your events are well publicised? That's ok - your events listings will be displayed on the front page of your minisite AND on the Students' Association front page. Your news stories will also be fed into the Yourunion.net news feed, so everyone will learn about what you're doing. You can run your own polls, and you can have your own photogallery too!
So if you'd like a minisite for your society, all you need to do is ask and we'll be happy to help set one up for you. Send an email to dosda@st-and.ac.uk with details of your society, and who you'd like as the administrator.
Oh, and every month the three busiest and most updated minisites are put forward for 'Minisite of the Month". The winning site then receives a professional makeover, and your society can win 25 customised polo shirts.
