To reiterate the rules of Production Proposals, for all interested in proposing shows you must follow the following steps:

1). You may come to a meeting, 1pm in the Union Committee Room on a Thursday, and propose a show.
2). Fill out your production proposal form, preliminary risk assessment and budget, with the help of the Productions Coordinator, Treasurer and Technical Officer (all details on the website)
3). Send these forms in to mermaidspropose@st-andrews.ac.
uk by 5pm on the Tuesday before the Thursday meeting you wish your show to be considered.
4). The Mermaids Committee will review your proposal, discuss and vote.
5). If they vote in favour of funding, the Treasurer will organise a meeting with you to write a cheque for your show. At this point you may then publicise, audition and proceed with production.
6). A member of the production team must come to every Mermaids meeting from this point to keep the committee updated in proceedings.

We hope this makes everything clear and for everything to be in order so we can fund as many shows as possible.

MERMAIDS AGM AND INTERVIEW POSITIONS!

Oh hey there Mermaids!

Once again, it is time to start thinking about electing a committee for the next year under our super new President Charlotte Baker!
Being on the Mermaids committee takes dedication, passion and the ability to make judgements on behalf of the entire community. You’ll have your individual areas of expertise and day to day jobs but you’ll also be required to work as with the committee to see the bigger picture and make sure shows work as well as contributing to the new organisation and running of the Barron. There will be a lot of changes next year and if you want to be part of shaping theatre in St Andrews then make sure you step up and run!

There are three important parts to this message, please read all to ensure you know as much as everyone else:

1) Interviewed positions

2) AGM

3) Proxy Voting
