Their Italian roots bring a different taste to the indie/Britpop music they write and in less than a year they played all the most important venues in London. Recently being noticed by Noel Gallagher, the band played at his official after show party in March 2015 at Scala in King’s Cross. Their single “Gravity” has been played by 40 regional and student radio stations around the UK, and has been nominated “Record Of The Week” on BFBS British Forces Radio and broadcast in 23 countries. The Brazilian TV channel SBT has chosen “Gravity” and “Something More” to be part of the soundtrack of the TV Drama “Cúmplices de Um Resgate”. Their single “Let It Go Friends” has been chosen to support the movement “Project Semicolon” in U.S. and has been played in September 2015 by DJ Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio. 2016 will see The Step touring around 25 universities on the Coffee House Tour in February and playing for TheBalconyTV in March.
