SCO19883. More than just a number.
The Students' Association is a registered charity (SCO19883), but through our Charities Campaign we also do a lot for other causes. Each year, students nominate six charities to receive a share of more than £70,000 raised by the Charities Campaign over the course of the year. Through events, collections, hitchhiking and more, the campaign continues to raise more money per student than any other campaign of its kind in Scotland.
Of course, no fundraising campaign would be successful without a bit of creativity and ingenuity, and this is why we need you. The SSC Charities Officer guides and inspires the campaign to achieve new and dizzying heights of achievement. You should be able to lead and motivate and team, your head should be packed full of great ideas, but you should also know when to let go of the crazier ones!
This is a unique opportunity to get involved with some serious fundraising. If you're interested, and if this description sounds like you, click here to find out how to put yourself forward for election on 18.03.2011.
