The University’s Academic Misconduct Policy
This is currently under review, but we will keep the latest policies on the website so you know what to avoid.
We have also included a guidance document created by members of staff for students to avoid plagiarism.
If you want to test yourself on plagiarism, go to WebCT and then click on SOAR – within this facility (explained on another page) is a plagiarism test, so see how well you would fare against the new software.
Over the next few weeks, we will be compiling reference guides for each School, so you can easily check online (and hopefully within the libraries) to see what referencing system each ones uses so you should not get mixed up or cite incorrectly!
