Model United Nations
Model United Nations aims to promote understanding of international affairs and the UN. In discussing global issues, students act as representatives of UN member states and NGOs. Our events span from weekly debates to national and international conferences, sometimes involving thousands of students from around the world. We also invite distinguished individuals to speak about UN-related topics, e.g. a Judge of the ICC in 2008. Regular socials follow our events; plans for this year also include the annual and hugely successful Global Village in celebration of UN Day as well as our Diplomats’ Day.
