Sustainable Development Society

Sustainable Development Society (SD Soc) is a very social society aiming to show how the ‘big’ challenges concern us all- the environmental crisis, global social problems, the nature of ‘development’. Events last year included a Talk by our Rector Simon Pepper and a screening of the Film “End of Suburbia” about the Peak Oil Crisis. It’s not your usual doom and gloom, though- there’s so much individuals can do...This year we will continue to attract speakers, hold screenings, discussions, free-cycle sessions, round-table debates and, of course, socials. Join the society and take advantage of our BBQ’s, Champagne Brunch, beach parties and much more.
