► LGBT
LGBT Society
The LGBT Society exists primarily as a social group for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transperson communities within the University. Social events range from film screenings to clubbing trips to pub nights to joint events with LGBT groups at other universities. We also arrange an array of interesting guest speakers to deliver welfare talks on various current LGBT issues. The LGBT Society meets every Monday evening in the Mansefield building, followed by a trip to our pub of choice - the Westport. We realise that a first visit may seem daunting, but we’re a friendly bunch, so come and check it out!
