German Society

German Society (aka Gersoc) is a long-standing, union-affiliated society. Gersoc welcomes everyone with an interest in German culture to its weekly socials “Stammtisch,” monthly film screenings and various other events (including the Gersoc Oktoberfest and the German play). Be you a German/Austrian/Swiss studying at St Andrews, a German language student or if you just happen to love general German-ness then come and join us for a beer at Stammtisch.

Next year (2008/09) Gersoc shall also offer monthly ‘chat’ sessions for those planning to go abroad to Germany/Austria and for those wishing to improve their conversational German. It may prove invaluable so please come along and join in!
