On The Rocks Festival 2010

On The Rocks is a week long arts festival taking place in April every year. It is run by students with guidance from the Students' Association.  In 2010 it took over the whole town with performances in unusual venues such as King James Library, St John's Garden and Castle Sands as well as the Byre Theatre, Students' Union,  and, of course The Barron Theatre.  Photos are by Ben Goulter, Igor,  Alex Howarth and Roman Koblov.

The foyer is open throughout the day, Monday - Friday as well as before and during performances.

Photography Exhibition by David Stothard

Our first exhibition in The Barron Theatre foyer is by local photographer David Stothard.  The photos feature stunning landscapes from Scotland and further afield, capturing the effects of early morning and evening light, as well as using infrared and other techniques to create playful and memorable images.
